Trip to Bennett’s Apples & Cider Market

Established in 1911 by Charlie Bennett and his wife Maude, Bennett’s Apples & Cider Market has been satisfying cravings for hot apple cider and apple pie for 100 years! I visited Bennett’s, located at 944 Garner Road East, Ancaster, last Wednesday with my classmate, Amanda. Outside were hundreds of pumpkin being snatched up by Ancaster locals eager to carve them by October 31. Inside apples, cider, fresh produce and baked goods stocked the shelves, and made the market smell delicious! You’d be a fool not to walk out with Marlene Bennett’s Crumbly Crust Apple or Deep Dish Apple Crisp in hand. I was impressed by the fare prices, and pleased to support a local business. I certainly encourage a visit to Bennett’s Apples & Cider Market which is open year round! For more information visit their website: http://bennettsapples.com/index.html
